Azerbaijan leads OTS countries in imports from Türkiye

Türkiye’s trade volume with member countries of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) reached $72.2 billion over the past five years.

AZERTAC reports, citing data from the Turkish Statistical Institute (TURKSTAT), that between 2021 and 2025, Türkiye exported $41.6 billion worth of goods and services to the markets of Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Uzbekistan, while its imports from these countries totaled $30.6 billion.

In the first nine months of this year, Türkiye’s exports to OTS countries stood at $4.8 billion.

According to TURKSTAT, Azerbaijan was the largest buyer of Turkish products over the past five years. During the period under review, Türkiye’s exports to Azerbaijan reached $13.7 billion.

Kazakhstan ($9.9 billion) and Kyrgyzstan ($5.6 billion) followed.

During the same period, Kazakhstan was the largest supplier of goods to Türkiye ($16.7 billion), followed by Uzbekistan ($6.9 billion) and Azerbaijan ($6.2 billion).
