Baku State University featured at the 12th Baku International Book Fair

Baku State University (BSU) is showcasing its academic achievements with a dedicated stand at the 12th Baku International Book Fair. Organized by the Ministry of Culture, this year's fair runs under the motto: "Life is bigger than a screen: one child, one book, one real world."
The BSU exhibition stand highlights a wide array of scientific and educational publications produced by the university's scholars over the past two years. Alongside books, textbooks, and manuals, the display includes four series of the scientific journal News of Baku University, faculty conference proceedings, and monographs. These publications reflect the diverse research areas and robust educational publishing capacity of the university.
Visitors to the stand can also watch a promotional video detailing BSU’s history, core activities, scientific research, and pedagogical milestones. University representatives are on-site to guide visitors through the collection and provide detailed information about the books and research materials. Additionally, visitors receive BSU-branded printed merchandise, including notebooks, brochures, and pens.
This year, BSU's participation stands out not only for its publication display but also for a series of high-level presentations and literary-scientific events. BSU will host five events within the framework of the fair. These include the presentation of Academician Nizami Jafarov’s book Lessons of the First Turkological Congress, and a session on "Classical Literature and Turkology" organized by the Sharg Ulkesi literary circle of the BSU Scientific Library. Furthermore, the university will present its BSU Oriental Studies and Media Problems journals, alongside the new Radio Journalism (https://www.google.com/search?kgmid=%2Fm%2F05vr_r&q=Radio+Journalism) textbook authored by journalism faculty department heads Aynur Nasirova and Khatira Huseynova.
