Top-scoring applicant with 700 points selects single academic major

Samir Taghizade, who achieved the maximum score of 700 points in the Group IV specialty examinations, has successfully enrolled in the English-medium General Medicine program at Azerbaijan Medical University.
According to a report by Qafqazinfo, the student stated that he had applied exclusively to a single major and secured admission exactly as planned.
Notably, the newly admitted student is a graduate of the Sumqayit Gymnasium with an emphasis on Natural Sciences.
Last year, Mr. Taghizade emerged as the winner of the "Alachi" (Excel) intellectual TV show broadcasted on Public Television (İTV).
