A familiarization trip to Azerbaijan for tourism companies from Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan has been organized

From July 21 to 24, a familiarization trip to Azerbaijan was organized for tourism companies from Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan, hosted by the Azerbaijan Tourism Board.
During the visit, representatives from about 20 tourism companies from Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan got acquainted with Azerbaijan's existing tourism infrastructure, provided services, beach tourism opportunities, cultural heritage, and national cuisine.

As part of the trip, a B2B business meeting was organized between the tourism industry representatives from Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan and about 80 representatives of local tourism companies and hotels. Discussions at the meeting focused on establishing new collaborations and expanding existing partnerships.
It is worth noting that in the first half of 2026, more than 50,000 visitors from Kazakhstan and over 34,000 from Uzbekistan traveled to our country. This indicates an increase of 11% and 49%, respectively, compared to the same period last year.
