"Shen Bazar" Festival Held in Gakh District

On October 10–11, the "Shen Bazar" festival was held in the Gakh district, organized by the Shaki Regional Tourism Management of the State Tourism Agency, with the support of the Gakh District Executive Power, the Shaki-Zagatala Regional Department of Culture, and the Shaki-Zagatala Regional Department of Youth and Sports.

The purpose of the festival was to showcase the rich cultural and historical heritage, national traditions, folklore, handicraft samples, and local gastronomy of the Gakh district to a wide audience, increase the tourism appeal of the region, and stimulate local economic activity.

During the two-day festival, hand-crafted works by local artisans and natural products were demonstrated, alongside gastronomic presentations and master classes. Additionally, the festival featured performances of national music, folklore, and dances, creative programs for children, and a music and entertainment party.

At the tourism corner, participants were provided with information regarding the tourism potential, routes, and attractions of the Gakh district.

The festival brought together tourists and visitors from various regions of the country, creating additional opportunities for tourism companies to promote tours to the Gakh district and the region as a whole.
