Azerbaijan's Year-Round Tourism Opportunities Presented in Four Turkish Cities

From October 5 to 8, the representative office of the Azerbaijan Tourism Board (ATB) in Turkey, in cooperation with Absheron Hotel Group (AHG), organized a series of seminars in the cities of Trabzon, Gaziantep, Bursa, and Konya.

The events brought together around 250 representatives from the Turkish tourism industry and mass media. During the seminars, information was shared regarding Azerbaijan's rich historical and cultural heritage, natural diversity, and varied travel experiences. Mountain tourism, outdoor adventure, city tourism, and cultural routes were presented as part of the country's year-round tourism offerings.

Particular focus was placed on winter tourism during the presentations, highlighting seasonal recreation options in Azerbaijan's mountainous regions. Along with the historical and cultural heritage of Shusha, the country's potential for business tourism was also emphasized.

During B2B meetings held within the framework of the seminars, representatives of the tourism sectors of Azerbaijan and Turkey exchanged views and discussed new cooperation opportunities.

These events are part of the ATB's ongoing efforts to strengthen Azerbaijan's position in the Turkish market, expand ties with sector representatives, and promote the country as a year-round travel destination.

In January–September 2026, the number of citizens visiting Azerbaijan from Turkey increased by 6.4% compared to the same period last year, reaching 355,045 people.
