Success of BSU Lyceum Student at JBMO 2026

Alikamal Hasan, a student of the "Young Talents" Lyceum under Baku State University (BSU), won a silver medal at the 30th Junior Balkan Mathematical Olympiad (JBMO 2026) held in Romania.
The Azerbaijani team performed successfully at the olympiad, bringing a total of 6 medals to the country:
* 3 silver medals
* 3 bronze medals
It is worth noting that this is not the first major achievement for the young mathematician. Previously, Alikamal Hasan was also awarded a silver medal at the European Mathematical Cup, which featured participants from 35 countries.
